Magnit says Oct–Dec EBITDA falls 19%, shares fall 5%
MOSCOW, Jan 26 (PRIME) -- Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of Russian retailer Magnit fell 18.93% on the year to 22.325 billion rubles in October–December 2017, the company said in a statement on Friday pushing the shares down by 5.2% to below 5,850 rubles, the lowest since April 2013, on the Moscow Exchange
Revenue rose 6.19% on the year to 302.305 billion rubles in the period.
In 2017, the company’s revenue increased 6.37% to 1.143 trillion rubles, but EBITDA shrank 14.86% to 91.776 billion rubles.
